Find People At People Search Sites

My experience with people search sites, my house was broken into and robbed a couple weeks ago so I been trying to track down a phone number from someone I suspect and so I decided to try a people search site. The first site I tried was Phone Agent Source , I typed in the phone number and they give me the area but, for addition information you must pay. Well I paid them after they showed the information was available, but it was not, they have to do the research. Why do they lie and say the info is available ? Now they tell me I have to wait 48 - 72 hours for the information, I was mad but I waited, after 72 hours they say they can’t get the information. I log into members area and try to cancel my membership, not an easy thing to do with Phone Agent Source, you have to chat live with an agent. I did the chat and told them I wanted to cancel my membership, they wanted to know why so I explained to them they can’t provide the service I needed. They wanted another try to get the info so I give them one more day, you guessed it, unavailable. Now I’m really mad so I go to cancel my membership, as I mentioned it’s not so easy, I go back to the chat and tell them I want to cancel my membership, now the chat agent tells me there not authorized to cancel memberships and it must get approved. After cancellation approval is done log into members area and look for cancellation message. I log into members area and look for cancellation message but nothing, another day goes by and nothing. I go back to chat agent and they tell me cancellation is pending. I tell them they will be hearing from my attorney and guess what, I get a quick reply saying membership canceled effective immediately with a conformation number. I’m unsure yet if my membership is really canceled but as far as I’m concerned this is just bad business and Phone Agent Source should not be online doing any business. Any online service should have an easy way to cancel any kind of membership and so I recommend not using Phone Agent Source. I’m now trying another people search site ( Intelius ) for the information I need, I type in the phone number and they give me the area. They show information is available but I must pay and so I pay the fee, I log into my new membership but, where in the hell is the info ? ( Pending ) you can probably figure how mad I am now. Why are these people search sites lying about information they don’t have ? I now have to wait and see if I get the info I need. |

Thank you for sharing this information, Joe. Unfortunately, many businesses on the internet, hide behind the fact that you the consumer can't reach out and smack their head. However, we can keep on exposing them with intels like yours.

Another example of the Golden rule. Once they have your gold they make the rules. (Unless you threaten to get a lawyer involved.)
